ELLPL Members’ Presentations at the Second Language Research Forum (SLRF) 2025 in Flagstaff
Utano Imada presented her work titled: Phonological Activation of L1 Japanese in L2 Korean Learning of Sino-Derived Vocabulary.
Yang Liu presented her work in collaboration with Juliet Huynh titled: L1 and L2 processing of Chinese compound words: Evidence from masked priming experiments.
Juliet Huynh presented at a roundtable on a project in collaboration with Kristen Fleckenstein of Coastal Carolina University titled: Navigating scalar implicature: On pragmatic processing in heritage Spanish speakers and late Spanish-English bilinguals. She also collaborated with Naoko Witzel of the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), Jeff Witzel of UTA, and Rongchao Tang of Vanderbilt University on a project titled: Navigating scalar implicature: On pragmatic processing in heritage Spanish speakers and late Spanish-English bilinguals.
