I am a PhD student in English Language & Linguistics and Gender & Women’s Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico where I later obtained my Bachelor and Master of Arts in English Linguistics and Literature at the University of Puerto. I am particularly interested in researching how Spanish heritage speakers process gender agreement in Spanish and make upcoming predictions in their heritage language.
